The rectangular cavetto cornice above a pair of later glazed doors including three later adjustable shelves, the lower section with a hinged slope enclosing a fitted interior with six small drawers, six pigeon-holes and a well, around a central cupboard, with black leather-lined writing-surface above two short and two long drawers, on later bracket feet, the metalwork replaced, the interior of the cabinet later, with remains of depository label on the reverse printed 'R.W..' and inscribed in ink '8/...' and insribed in chalk 'HANDL M... 6'.
