Letters discussing various editions of the English poets, including particularly Shelley (of whom Rossetti wrote a biography) writing of his new edition of the poems, 'Every page, line, word & comma has been most minutely & laboriously revised'; commenting on an edition of Keats' letters to Fanny Brawne, and on literary journals, preferring 'the Fortnightly [Review] for serious disquisitions & the Cornhill for entertainment', and giving his reasons for not liking the 'Saturday Review' and the 'Spectator'. One letter includes a list of his works and the last refers to a paper he has published. W.B. Scott (the close friend of Dante Gabriel Rossetti and of Swinburne, and author of editions and memoirs of poets) comments on William Rossetti's criticisms and editions. (6)
