THE CABINET 17TH CENTURY, THE STAND CIRCA 1725 AND POSSIBLY NORTH EUROPEAN
Decorated overall with exotic landscapes and birds, the rectangular top above a pair of doors enclosing an interior fitted with variously sized drawers above a stand carved with scrolling foliage, the frieze centred by a c-scroll cartouche on volute carved supports with trailing husk and hatched fields joined by shaped stretchers centred by a vase shaped finial on paw feet, the stand with a possible Rothschild paper label inscribed indistinctly in ink 'HH..', the back left stretcher damaged
