A CONTINENTAL 19TH CENTURY SILVER DESSERT STAND
MARK OF BUCKMANN, GERMAN OR AUSTRIAN, CIRCA 1850
The column formed as stylised broad foliage with applied flower heads and mounted with a wild cat preying on a deer, the base with four scroll and rocaille feet and with central bowl holder supported by a frieze of overhanging leaves, engraved with a crest - 12in.(30cm.) 38 ozs.
