Tibet, circa 14th Century
Seated in dhyanasana with his right hand lowered to hold the medicinal fruit, wearing a diaphanous sanghati tightly fitted across his shoulder, incised with diaper borders between beaded rims, his face with a benign expression with downcast eyes beneath gently arched brows and flanked by long pendulous lobes, the face with cold gilding
