A Silvered and Gilt Copper Miniature Cabinet
Tibet, 19th Century
The rectangular cabinet supported on skull feet with doors surrounded by a skull frame and decorated with beaded swags, carrion birds, ritual offerings surrounded by flames, and animals within charnel grounds, the drawer below depicting dancing skeletons interspersed with ritual objects, the doors and drawer with ring-form handles, the sides depicting flayed skins
16 3/8 x 12 1/8 x 7 1/8 in. (41.5 x 30.5 x 18 cm.)
