heavily gilt and painted with bijin and attendants before a pavilion and pine trees in a landscape setting, the inside of the cover and the base decorated with vases and baskets of flowers, the underside of the base with scrolling foliage on a green ground, Kinkozan impressed sealmark and signature to base -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) diam.
