(9 x 6.4cm.); prayer book?, Persian manuscript on paper, 3ll. of large black nasta'liq in gold clouds divided by smaller similar horizontal and diagonal lines gold margins and divisions between black rules, red outer rule, blue ruled outer margin, opening folio with illuminated heading, Persia or North India, signed by Muhammad Mahdi son of Haji 'Abd al-Hani(?), probably 18th century, maroon morocco binding - 9¼ x 5in. (23.5 x 13cm.); and another, Arabic manuscript on paper, 14ll. of minute black naskh, gold margin between black rules, blue ruled outer margin, occasional marginal notes, headings and occasional words in red, tables at end, opening bifolio with illuminated heading and gold clouds around the text, dated as being completed at 8.00 on Monday, 22th day of the 2nd month of AH 1229/1813-14 AD, maroon morocco binding - 3 x 1¾in.
