JIAQING SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The exterior incised with two dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst flames and two cruciform clouds above rocks and waves, all under a dark aubergine glaze reserved on a green ground
4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) diam.
Exhibited
London, S. Marchant & Son, Qing Mark and Period Monochromes and Enamelled Wares, 12-24 July 1981, no. 26 (one of a pair).
