Edo period (late 17th century), signed Yasutsugu oite Echizen kore (o) tsukuru (Third Generation Yasutsugu) and with engraved family crest
Of shinogi-zukuri configuration with iori-mune back, torii-zori curvature and a o-gissaki point; ko-itame nagare forging pattern and notare ni gunome midare tempered edge, the tip small and rounded; tang unshortened with one mekugi-ana and katte-sagari file marks; in wood storage scabbard
