A Dagger (Tanto) in Mounts (Koshirae)
Edo period (18th century), signed Soshu ju Yasuchika o saku and inscribed Musashi junin Noguchi Yasutaro shoji
The blade kanmuri-otoshi-zukuri with iori-mune back, the curvature saki-zori; forging pattern itame and the tempered edge choji midare; tang unshortened with two peg holes and horizontal file marks
Aikuchi koshirae black lacquer with bamboo-like nodes fitted with a kozuka decorated on the handle with soft-metal figures carrying a palanquin and carved on the blade, signed Mori Tosa and with kao (cursive monogram) and a silver kogai
