Forged with a strong chin and wrinkles on the cheeks and below the eyes, hinged nose piece applied with a moustache of animal hair, interior lacquered red, chin pierced with one hollyhock-shaped ventilation hole; fitted with a three-lame false scale throat guard lacquered black, laced in blue and attached with stencilled leather, the bottom lame trimmed with animal hair
