Each with tan leather seat and arm slings, within chamfered frame, manufacturer's label factory signed and dated 'FH 11-64' to underside of each chair

Lot Essay

This design is based on the utilitarian folding 'campaign' chair, c.1900, retailed by Maples & Co. The modernisation of traditional British furniture types continued to be of enduring interest to Danish cabinetmakers throughout the Twentieth Century.
