Original cloth-backed boards, paper label to backstrip, lettered 'Visit to the Vineyards of Spain and France by J.Busby.' (spine faded and slightly rubbed with some loss to lettering of label). Provenance: Enoch J. Dole (Rowley, Essex County, Mass., inscription dated 1849); Sylvia[?](inscription dated 1939). THIRD, FIRST AMERICAN, EDITION, adapted slightly from the first edition published in Sydney in 1833 under the title Journal of a tour through some of the vineyards of Spain and France (Sydney: 1833).
