2 volumes in three parts in three volumes, 8° (vol.I: 176 x 110mm.; vol.II, parts I & II: 179 x 110mm). 27 plates and maps, 2 folding engraved maps, 13 folding plates, 12 etched plates, two tipped-in tapa cloth samples. (The three final plates in vol.I shaved with loss to numbering in upper margin, the folding map in vol.I with slight loss to upper and outer margin.) Vol.I: contemporary marbled sheep gilt, the flat spine divided into six compartments by fillets, red moroocco lettering-piece in the second, green morocco in the third, the other compartments with repeat pattern of various floral tools, upper cover blocked in gilt 'G:U:Bonde' (light scuffing to spine and extremities); vol.II, parts I & II: contemporary half calf, spines gilt in five unequal compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second, numbered in the fourth, the fifth with monogram 'GTB', the first compartment tooled in gilt, the third in blind (light scuffing to extremities), all three volumes within a single 20th-century morocco-backed cloth box.
