twin-handled, the handles with grotesque griffin finials, the elongated oviform vase shouldered with a slim neck and slightly domed cover standing on a pedestal foot above a square-section base with canted corners, the body pierced allover with hexagonal-section piercings, the shoulders and foot with foliate ones and the foot applied with two beaded borders, enriched in raised, chased and flat gilding, printed marks, shape number 2064, signed -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) high, date code for 1919 (slight wear)
