A RARE FAMILLE ROSE MYTHOLOGICAL-SUBJECT TEABOWL AND SAUCER
CIRCA 1750
Enamelled with Venus holding an anchor with a putto on her lap seated in a shell-shaped chariot drawn by two swans, another putto in the sky above them, within a puce rococo leaf and shell surround and a similar border in various enamels below the rim, saucer cracked
The saucer 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) diam.
