Gilt and painted in colours with a central flower surrounded by three flowerbranches (minute chip to rim and to footrim)

In the 1770 inventory of the Royal Porcelain Collection in Dresden the service is described as follows: Acht Stück gemuschelte Chocolaten Becher, mit bunten Blumen gemahlt, 2 3/4 Zoll tief, 3 1/2 Zoll grosz in Diam. und Ein und Dreyszig Stück darzu gehörige ausgeschweifte Unterschaalen, 1 3/4 Zoll tief, 5 3/4 Zill in Diam. No. 338.
