The scenes on this amphora are most unusual. Cf. Exhibition Catalogue, The Art of the Italic Peoples from 3000-300 B.C., 1993, Naples, p. 230 ff., no. 130 for an amphora with narrative scene depicting the myth of Achilles and Troilos.
