lithograph in colors, 1895, on wove paper, Wittrock's fourth (final) state, from the Pan French Edition of 1895, with the orange-red monogram (slightly faded), an unnumbered proof from the edition of 100 (Wittrock calls for half the edition to be inscribed 'II.E.' in red crayon by another hand, and half numbered in pencil by another hand out of 100), with margins, pale light-staining, the pink and yellow attenuated, an unobtrusive foxmark on the bust, a few foxmarks in the margins, old hinge remains at the reverse of the upper margin corners, otherwise in good condition
