Colour just starting to mellow from a dark red ruby. Plenty of warm ripe red cherry fruit. Outstanding flavour; superb weight; full but not overblown. Tight knit, fine velvet tannin backbone; plenty of sweet Pinot flavour; redcurrants too. Slightly dry and very long. Rounded off with typically great acidity.
