Lot Essay

Xavery listed a porcelain modeller in Thieme-Becker's Kuenstler Lexicon. The list includes a biscuit portrait medallion on King Gustavus III of Sweden signed Xavery Fec 1777. This is listed as being in the catalogue of the collection of Dr Paul von Ostermann of Darnstaff-Muenchen in 1928
