Of Indian style, each pavé-set diamond foliate plaque, enhanced by vari-cut sapphires and turquoise, suspending an oval and rectangular-cut sapphire swag, to the circular and marquise-cut diamond foliate motifs and pear-shaped cabochon turquoise terminals, mounted in platinum, circa 1969

Doris Duke commissioned these ear pendants from David Webb with stones from her collection and stones Webb provided. Records indicate that she purchased them on 10 October 1969 and paid $2,500.
