PROBABLY PONT-AUX-CHOUX, CIRCA 1760-1780
Moulded with flowering branches within wavy reeded rims, comprising:
An oval soup-tureen and cover with rose finial, 12 1/8 in. (30.8 cm.) wide overall
2 large circular dishes, 13 7/8 in. (35.4 cm.) diameter
2 butter-tubs and covers with three-flower finials, 7 in. (17.5 cm.) wide overall
A melon-form mustard-pot and cover, 3 5/8 in. (9.3 cm.) high
4 baluster-form custard cups and covers, 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high
2 flattened bombé custard cups and covers, 3 1/8 in. (8cm.) high
A lobed rectangular tray, 11½ in. (29.2 cm.) long
3 soup plates, 9½ in. (24.2 cm.) diameter
20 dinner plates, 9 3/8 in. (13.8 cm.) diameter
4 lobed circular dishes, 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) diameter
A pear-shaped teapot and cover with three-flower finial, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high
A sugar-bowl and cover with three-flower finial, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high 4 teacups with variant handles and trembleuses saucers, 5½ in. (14 cm.) diameter, the saucers (65)
