Lot Essay

The Victorian bath with dolphin supports was bought by the antiquarian decorator Christopher Gibbs from David Style's landmark collection sale at Wateringbury Place in 1978. Axel Vervoordt purchased this lot from Christopher Gibbs' house sale in 2000 (for £3,290).
