A 19TH SAILOR'S WATERLINE MODEL OF A STEAM-ASSISTED THREE-MASTED SHIP-OF-THE-LINE
with masts, yards, rigging, carved wooden sails, female figurehead, head rails, anchors, catheads, simple deck fittings, funnel, carved and painted crew taking a roll call and other details. The hull with brass guns and quarter galleries is finished in black and white and set in a moulded painted seascape with a pilot cutter in front contained within a glass fronted case for wall hanging (sails re-finished, restoration) -- 18 x 32¼in. (46 x 82cm.)
