HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C.
The recumbent animal with the hind legs folded, the forelegs outstretched, its head thrown back and inclined up and to its left, its mouth open as if bleeting, its tongue visible, with long ears and bulging lidded eyes with indented pupils, its fleece rendered by curving incised lines
