Tasting note: Bright, medium-gold lemon, with a touch of green. Caramelised apple on the nose, honeyed and roasty. This is a real dessert wine, for sipping on its own, from a concentrated, tiny harvest. An east wind arrived just in time to prevent rot spreading out of hand, and to encourage dessication of the grapes. Sweet middle-palate, with on the finish, a touch of dryness, and firmness. AH
