Tasting note: The deepest amber brown of the three 1990s, and today the most backward. The aromas are capable of complex development, but now are rich yet latent. The palate on the other hand is sensationally sweet, intensely fruity, velvety in texture, very long. I can imagine simply wishing to sip this on its own, rather than trying to partner it with a dish. There are hours of sipping pleasure in every bottle. AH
