3 volumes in 4 (lacks the final part of volume III but includes a duplicate of volume II and volume III part 1), 2° (332 x 226mm). 240 hand-coloured engraved plates (of 288) by and after the author, 120 duplicated. (A few thumbmarks in the margins and other similar minor imperfections). Contemporary half sheep (one volume non uniform, slightly worn).
This rare work on Danish and Scandinavian ornithology has distinctive plates of a somewhat conservative style reminiscent of the late 18th century. Nissen IVB 969; Anker 521 (describing an imperfect copy). (4)
