UNDERGLAZE-BLUE YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-35)
Painted in the Ming style with simulated heaping and piling in the centre with a lotus roundel surrounded by lotus within arbesques and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, on a ground of scrolling lotus, the everted rim with breaking waves, the reverse with fruit and flower sprays, restored
17 7/8 in. (45.5 cm.) diam.
