The old-cut diamonds weighing 1.15 and 1.24 carats, each to the plain mount (2)
The diamonds for this and the following lot formed part of the group of jewellery given to William Congreve (1772-1828) in 1813 by Tsar Alexander I. Lot 192 and 193 were made into earrings circa 1970.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
