According to Dan Tyminski, this guitar was given to him ...by Dana Bourgeois (Bourgeois Guitars) through Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs one night backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. That same night the Dreadnought made it to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, as well as many other stages throughout Alison Krauss + Union Station tours and various television appearances, including the David Letterman Show. The Dreadnought has also been used in multiple Dan Tyminski and Alison Krauss + Union Station recording sessions...
