Lot Essay

EC: This has been used a lot...on just about everything.

LD: It was bought in London in '92.

EC: It was the first Ramirez I ever had.

LD: ..and it was around for a long time before we got onto the Gerundino?

EC. Yes, once I got onto the pure Flamenco guitars I didn't look back really. But this was on Pilgrim and every record after it in the 1990s.

LD: It may have made a couple of appearances on stage when we were going through that experimental stage and trying to get a gut string to work with a mike.

EC: It's a great guitar... a fantastic guitar.

CW: One of your favourites?

EC: Oh, yes.
