Lot Essay

EC: This is a beautiful guitar too, the [detail of the] inlay on the machine-heads and so on.

LD: It's a 1934 re-issue..a copy of Lloyd Loar's original design. It came from the historic collection that Gibson started doing a few years ago...Eric saw it in the catalogue and thought it looked really nice.. We used it when recording the album Pilgrim in LA.

See footnote to previous lot.
