Lot 73Synonymous with motor racing success, the Ferrari is legendary; for over
fifty years the Maranello marque has captivated the hearts of motoring enthusiasts across the globe and its reputation as the supreme sportscar
manufacturer is strongly affirmed.
Formed in the early 1990s, the 'M' collection boasts a representative
selection of right hand drive Ferraris produced over the course of three
decades. The jewel of the collection is the fabulous 275 GTB 6/C with its
desirable competition specification, however, alongside this car are examples of each generation of famous road cars. Enzo Ferrari's
philosophy was that he produced road going cars in order to fund his beloved
racing team and by doing so he enabled fortunate individuals (with the necessary funds) to purchase a road going 'prancing horse' that utilised
race-bred technology.
Ranging from long legged touring Ferraris such as the evocative 365 GTB/4
'Daytona' to the practical 328 (in both GTB and GTS form), the collection, it also includes examples of popular models such as the Dino and Berlinetta Boxers, offering Ferrari collectors something
for every possible wish or use.
Regularly test driven and serviced by a team of full-time mechanics, all of
the cars in the 'M' collection are road legal and can be regarded as being
'on the button'. Individual history files for each car are available to view
on request.
