Maker's mark PH conjoined, crown above, either for Petrus Hiemesch II or Petrus Hirschler, Brassó, presentation date 1703, also marked at the rim and foot with a later indistinct import or tax mark
The tapering circular bowl engraved on one side with a coat-of-arms and with a Latin inscription dated 1703 within a leaf and ribbon cartouche on the other, supported on a spreading foot and with a knopped stem
