Mark of Isaac Liger, London, 1709
Vase-shaped and on circular foot, with moulded mid-ribs, the detachable domed cover part-fluted and pierced with husking and vertical flutes, and with baluster finial, engraved with a foliate scroll, strapwork, fishscale and shell cartouche, the centre later engraved with a crest, marked on bezel, the cover with leopard's head erased, the bezel and cover with Belgian 19th century import mark
