The first with acanthus loop handle and three circular wells and a pen tray, on paw feet, printed, painted and gilt with the 'Japan' pattern; the second of baluster form, with tall double-finial and two richly-gilt scroll handles, painted with a band of diamonds in gilt and iron-red enamel
