The first CIRCA 1790, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND STAR MARK, THE DECORATION LATER, THE DOUBLE-SALTS 19TH CENTURY, BLUE SCEPTRE MARK
The first of oval form, painted with vignettes of birds within landscape, the cover with a pinecone finial and sweeping leaf-moulded handles; the double-salts modelled with seated sacntily-clad putto between two oval salts painted with exotic birds in branches, on gilt scroll-moulded supports (some rubbing to gilding)
