of oblong form, moulded with a spirited chariot race and with an ebonised wood frame, signed:"P. King facit 1905 (from engraving)", the reverse applied with a hand written paper fragment:"This was given to me by Mr Percy King of High Street, Smethwick in 1926 - He did it while working at Elkingtons in 1905" - overall length 14¼in. (36.50cm.)
