Two early 20th-Century monocular microscopes,
one stamped R. WINKEL GÖTTINGEN Nr. 18468, with black enamelled barrel with draw-tube and rack and pinion focusing and a double nosepiece with Winkel objectives 6 and 3, held on a short arm from the main brass limb surmounted by the micrometer fine adjustment screw, the square black enamelled stage with slide clips, condensor and concave mirror, the limb tilting between two uprights from the black enamelled Y-shaped foot -- 31.5cm. (12 3/8in.) high; the other stamped Ernst Leitz Wetzlar No315913, the black enamelled barrel with rack and pinion focusing and micrometer fine adjustment and double nosepiece, held on a curved limb, the stage with slide clips, aperture disc and plano-concave mirror, the limb tilting on an axis between two uprights from the Y-shaped foot -- 31.8cm.
