THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1725-30, THE DECORATION CIRCA 1745, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK AND DOT MARK
Of squat baluster form, the gilt loop handle with foliage terminals, the curved gilt spout with a bearded gilt mask terminal, painted in underglaze blue and enriched with goldmalerei and coloured enamels, each side with a bird in flight by flowering shrubs issuing from rockwork, the terminal flanked by coloured shrubs and a standing figure in a conical hat, the domed cover similarly decorated about a gilt cone finial and within a gilt band border (slight wear to gilding, minute rim chip to cover, handle with areas of slight re-touching to gilding)
