probably Hill Pottery, printed and enriched in buff on a black ground with Classical figures, one titled to the base TRIPTOLEMUS ON A WINGED CAR FROM THE ANTIQUE, a bearded figure to the reverse between acanthus leaves within key and egg and dart pattern bands -- 8½in.
