A rare German model of a chronometer tourbillon escapement

The pivoted detent escapement with ruby pallets and ruby impulse stone, uncut bimetallic balance with flat blued steel hairspring, mounted within a steel three-arm carriage rotating once every three minutes, the two pillar central support with foliate engraved table, circular brass plates, the top plate signed GERMAN HOROLOGICAL INSTITUTE GLASÜTTE. SAXONY. 1902, the rotating carriage signed FRED. B. BREITINGER., mounted on a two-piece turned ebonised wood base with glass dome
