The silvered Roman dial signed Hunt & Roskell, 156 New Bond Strt. London. 10799., gold spade hands, subsidiary up/down and seconds at VI, the movement with lightly spotted plates, chain fusee, diamond endstone to cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights and blued steel helical spring, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement, brass bowl and gimbal, the brass-bound three-tier box with recessed drop handles to the sides and bone plaque to the front engraved Hunt & Roskell 156 New Bond Street. London.
