of two putti emblematic of 'Music', both modelled seated, the girl singing, wearing a feather in her hair, a pearl necklace about her neck and a music-book balanced on her knee, her compainion looking over her shoulder with one hand raised, a violin on the ground before them, enriched in a limited palette, blue crossed swords marks -- 6¼in. (16cm.) high, circa 1750
