Tasting note: A really lovely wine. Perfect to drink - as a drink; a rare claret that does not need the assistance of food. At the most recent John Jenkins' Bordeaux Club dinner at Childerly Hall it was beyond description. It has such a sweet, lovely, 'melting charm'. Last tasted Sept 1998. MB
