Inlaid overall with scrolling flowers and birds, the hinged rectangular lid inlaid with banding, enclosing to the reverse a rectangular recess for a mirror, now lacking, and to the main section with a well flanked by hinged lids to each side, one enclosing writing implements, above two drawers, the back with five variously-sized drawers, with handles to the sides, lacking feet, losses to decoration
