The interior decorated with two phoenixes, one standing on a blue rock, the other in flight, amidst flowering peony, prunus and magnolia, encircled by a narrow band of foliate scroll repeated on the everted rim above a band of lotus scroll in the well, with further lotus scroll on the exterior and base, raised on three later-added, shaped, shallow copper supports
